Following the breaking news of the New York Rangers being involved in a blockbuster trade to re-acquire forward J.T Miller from the Vancouver Canucks, we now know what number he will wear upon his return.
News broke out on Friday night confirming that the New York Rangers have re-acquired J.T. Miller in a massive trade with the Canucks, which involved Filip Chytil and Victor Mancini.
Vancouver has officially sent J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers in exchange for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini, and a protected 2025 first round pick.
However following the trade news quickly broke out on regards of what number J.T. Miller will were upon his return considering he's previous number 10 is now being worn by Artemi Panarin, and number 9 which he wore with the Canucks is a retired number.
Number 9 was worn by Adam Graves and Andy Bathgate and now the number is hoisted to the Madison Square Garden rafters.
According to recent reports, it has been confirmed that J.T. Miller wear the number 8, which was previously worn by the New York Rangers former captain Jacob Trouba before he was traded to the Anaheim Ducks.
