Get The Win, Silence The Doubters!
The New York Rangers have been spoken of in a mixed light yesterday.
While they secured a nice win against the Buffalo Sabres to open the season, they then lost to the worst team of last season, the Columbus Blue Jackets, Saturday night.
No one will give the Rangers an excuse for losses like this, regardless if defenseman Ryan Lindgren was unavailable to play.
The expectations, with this level of talent, has always been high. They cannot afford these type of losses this early in the season.
Especially when other heavy hitters like the Vegas Golden Knights and the Boston Bruins are taking care of business.
The Rangers can silence some of the doubters with a big win tonight in their home opener, against the Arizona Coyotes, in front of a roaring crowd.
A win here would boost the confidence for the team moving forward.
Let's see what the Rangers are made of tonight at Madison Square Garden and how this could affect the standings early in the season.
