He's Working Hard For These Wins
Igor Shesterkin had a massive workload today in the 4-3 win over the Nashville Predators.
Facing 39 shots and stopping 36 of them to earn his 10th win of the season.
Igor Shesterkin faced 17 shots in the first period and allowing two goals as the Rangers defense was extremely shaky, spending a lot of time on the defensive zone.
He really buckled down after a shaky 1st period for the entire team, stopping 18 of 19 shots in the final two periods and allowing only one goal.
He has been under fire for some unfair reasons with some fans turning on him.
Let's give the man credit for keeping the Rangers within reach to complete the comeback and get the win.
He stepped up when the team needed him to and that's all we can ask for!
