New York Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette makes a shocking move with goaltender Igor Shesterkin moments before today's upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

On Saturday the New York Rangers faced off against the Buffalo Sabres for their first game back since the 4 Nations Face-Off break, and it was ugly!
During Saturday nights game the New York Rangers quickly fell 5-0 in the first period, which resulted in the Rangers pulling Igor Shesterkin before the first was over.
Unfortunately that didn't seem to help much as the New York Rangers would go on to lose 8-2.
However, today the New York Rangers are set to take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at 3:30PM and head coach Peter Laviolette made the announcement that Igor Shesterkin will be the starting goalie.

The thought process of this would be due to the fact Shesterkin only played 18:21 during Saturdays game.
Thought process was just the fact that Shesterkin played only 18:21 last night, so they were comfortable coming back to him
Hopefully this is the right move and the whole team can show up and prove to everyone that they still want to make the playoffs, as last nights game didn't show much of that.
