Heavy Travel Doesn't Stop Rangers From Being First In Division
The New York Rangers are currently in first place in the Metropolitan Division, despite having the most difficult travel of anyone in the league thus far.
They have played in five road games out of eight, and three out of the next four games are still on the road.
The user is correct with the Rangers traveling the most miles in the league so far. As the last three games, the team ventured to the West Coast cities; Seattle, Calagary, then Edmonton.
A couple of upcoming games against Vancouver tonight, and moving closer to the East Coast to Winnipeg on Monday to round out this five-game road stretch before finally returning to New York for a game against the Carolina Hurricanes on November 2nd.
Only to once again venture on a single game road trip to Minnesota.
Getting through this road trip early in the season and accumulating as many wins as possible will best serve the Rangers.
For once they get through this rough stretch of road games, they can better prepare for their mid-season form ahead of a potentially deep playoff push.
The Rangers will play their fourth straight road game against the Vancouver Canucks tonight, at Rogers Arena, in Vancouver.
Both teams are looking to win their fourth straight game.
Milestone alert!
The Rangers are 13 wins away from the franchise 3,000th win!
