Hearing Set Today For Clifton Hit On Devils Player Head
The NHL announced a hearing is set today for Buffalo Sabres defenseman, Connor Clifton, with the NHL Department of Player Safety for the illegal check to the head against New Jersey Devils center, Nico Hischier during last night's 5-4 loss to the Devils.
Here is the video.
The incident occurred at 16:00 of the first period, Clifton received a match penalty.
Hischier played in the second period, but did not play the third, as he was removed from the game due to precautionary reasons.
