It's Not Going To Get Any Easier
The Rangers could have made a statement to the league had they won last night against the Nashville Predators.
Now they only raised questions on the team's ability to win as they embark on their trip of five games on the road.
The Rangers' road trip starts with the Seattle Kraken on Saturday. They then face four straight Canadian teams, the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Vancouver Canucks, and the Winnipeg Jets.
The Rangers' return back home to face arguably the scariest team in the league, the high scoring Carolina Hurricanes for their one home game, before heading to Minnesota.
So, six of the next seven games will be played on the road.
The good news from all this is the season is still young. It's going to be a long season, and the growing pains will be there for a little while.
But the Rangers absolutely must figure it out soon.
They do not want to build themselves a hole, still trying to dig their way out when the season starts to dwindle down.
