Jimmy Vesey gives a huge shoutout to the Rangers medical staff after quick recovery
New York Rangers veteran forward gives a huge shoutout to the team's medical staff after recovering quickly from injury.
31-year old veteran forward Jimmy Vesey has just recently rejoined the New York Rangers lineup after being placed on Long-Term Injured Reserve(LTIR) at the beginning of the season.
While the veteran just missed 10 games, Vesey returned to the Rangers lineup on Sunday, November 3rd against the New York Islanders. Here's what he had to say about his first game:
"Thought it was a good start and hope I can build off it."
Jimmy Vesey talks about his first game of the season:
Vesey didn't forget to mention the New York Rangers medical staff, as he gave them a huge shoutout for doing a great job at getting him back onto the ice quickly as possible.
«I would like to give a shoutout to our medical and strength and conditioning staff,» Vesey said. «They did a great job.»
However, it still remains unclear what the exact injury is that he sustained, but one this is for sure Vesey went down and was visibly in a lot of pain before quickly limping his way back to the locker room.
Good news is that Vesey had returned and is now on the fourth line alongside Sam Carrick and Adam Edstrom, where he instantly made an impact and blending with his linemates.
Just last season Vesey managed to record 13 goals and 13 assists for a total of 26 points 80 games, while averaging 12:23 minutes a game.
