Peter Laviolette Announces Starting Goaltender Today
The Rangers will be facing off against the Nashville Predators later today.
Head coach Peter Laviolette just announced that Igor Shesterkin will be starting at net.
Some were expecting Jonathan Quick to be the starter for the game with Igor Shesterkin starting tomorrow against the San Jose Sharks, especially since Jonathan Quick was off the ice first during practice yesterday.
Here is Igor Shesterkin's career stats in December:
Igor Shesterkin has the highest career win percentage of any active goalie with a minimum of 100 games played.
Let's get this win!
