Peter Laviolette Gives Credit To Rangers Fans Being The Best In The NHL
The Rangers gave the New Jersey Devils a well deserved 5-1 beating tonight for their ninth straight win, tying a stretch during the 2015-16 season for the third longest win streak in team history.
The Rangers have points in 11 of its last 12 games (10-1-1) and points in six-straight road games.
What makes it sweeter is the sea of blue that envelops the opposing team stadium! Head coach Peter Laviolette speaks on this:
"We go to road games and you look up and it's just a sea of blue out there. These are passionate and loyal fans. From what I've learned these are not new fans either, this has been handed down for generations and generations."
It's true. We dominate road games, especially at our second arena in Prudential Center.
Or just listen to the beautiful chant of "let's go Rangers":
Rangers fans have taken over, and the Devils are sinking in the standings, closer to missing the playoffs after each passing day.
Good riddance.
