The Rempire Towers are no more, as Adam Edstrom has been placed on injured reserve. Matt Rempe made a statement on the absence of his linemate today.

The Rempire Towers have been a factor in the New York Rangers lineup. While centered by Sam Carrick, the line itself has show up on the scoresheet multiple times for the team.
While Matt Rempe, and Adam Edstrom have built a bond, and chemistry while playing on the fourth line together.
In the last ten games, Adam Edstrom has scored a total of 4 points (3 G, 1 A), while Rempe has scored 2 points (1 G, 1 A). While we know Rempe as someone who isn't primarily an offensive threat, he's shown promise lately.
Now, the dynamic duo is no more, as Edstrom is set to be out of the lineup for two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half months.
Rempe has been devastated as a result.
While Rempe is devastated his best buddy is out of the lineup, he'll have to march on as the Rangers have to find a way to make the playoffs.
Bonds like Rempe's and Edstrom's are built over time, and we'll see how much it affects his play on the ice.
Jimmy Vesey will take Edstrom's spot in the lineup on the left wing.
Vesey is no stranger to being a reliable producer for the Rangers, scoring 26 points last season.
But this season, he'll need to bring that kind of tenacity back, as Edstrom could be out until the Stanley Cup playoffs.
It's sad to see the Rempire Towers as a thing of the past, as the injury could be season-ending for Edstrom.
Hopefully, this will come to pass as he can return in a little over two-months and restore size and intimidation that the two had together.
