New York Rangers rookie forward Brett Berard has scored an absolute beauty for his first ever NHL goal.

The New York Rangers have just managed to take a 3-2 lead over the Carolina Hurricanes as the second period came to an end.

All thanks to the goal scorers, Jonny Brodzinski, Adam Fox and the man who netted his first ever NHL goal Brett Berard.

The goal we're focusing on is the beauty that rookie forward Brett Berard scored, after the puck was turned over in the Rangers zone after the Hurricanes make one too many passes.

Which lead to a break out pass from Zac Jones to Brett Berard, then the rest is history.

Since then the youngest has managed to put up two points in his first two games, one being an assist during his first game and now his goal.
