Reports have surfaced that suggests the New York Rangers are making some changes to their jerseys ahead of their upcoming game tonight.

According to a recent report from a Rangers reporter Vince Z. Mercogliano, the New York Rangers are planning on switching up their jerseys for tonight's game against the Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers.

As the Rangers are preparing to faceoff against the Panthers tonight at Madison Square Garden for 7:00PM.

However, as the Rangers took to the ice this morning for their morning practice, Vince Z. Mercogliano pointed out that the players were wearing their dark blue helmets, indicating that they would be wearing their third jerseys tonight.

Looks like the #NYR will be rocking their third jerseys tonight - same from last season, with the large logo on the chest. They're wearing the dark blue helmets at the morning skate.

Which this has been confirmed by the Rangers organization as they released a third jersey scheduled last month, showing the 10 dates they plan on wearing their third jerseys.

Year 2️⃣ in our third look.

Tonight's matchup should be an interesting one as the last time these two faced each other was during the 2023-24 Eastern Conference Finals, where the Panthers eliminated the Rangers in game six and advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals, where they defeated the Edmonton Oilers to claim the title of the 2023-24 Stanley Cup Champions.
