Taking a look at the New York Rangers projected lineups for their upcoming game against the Seattle Kraken.

Tonight will be an interesting battle between the two teams as this will be the first time the Rangers and Kraken will face against each other for the 2024-25 season.

However, it's safe to assume the Rangers will be keeping the same lines that they ran when they faced off against the San Jose Sharks.

#NYR warmup rushes from MSG for tonight's game vs. San Jose:

Kreider - Zib - Smith
Panarin - Trocheck - Laf
Cuylle - Chytil - Kakko
Edström - Carrick - Vesey

Miller - Fox
Lindgren - Trouba
Jones - Schneider

Igor
Quick

Unfortunately there will be a few noticeable differences as Filip Chytil didn't join the team today after sustaining an upper-body injury, leaving Jonny Brodzinski to slot in.

As expected, Jonny Brodzinski has taken Chytil's place between Will Cuylle and Kaapo Kakko. #NYR

The other noticeable difference that was just confirmed by Mollie Walker of the New York Post is that backup goaltender Jonathan Quick will be getting the start.

Jonathan Quick first #NYRgoalie off

Just keep in mind this is just a projection, as nothing has officially been confirmed by the New York Rangers themself. Once we get the official confirmation we will be sure to keep you updated.
