New York Rangers veteran holds insane franchise record
The New York Rangers are a storied original-six franchise in the NHL. They have seen many stars come through the organization throughout the decades.
Many like Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Rod Gilbert, and Henrik Lundqvist are just some.
But veterans like Chris Kreider, still play for the team and are still contributing to the team's ongoing success, compared to the legends mentioned above.
Kreider could be considered a legend himself, as his post-season play has left a mark in Rangers history.
Considering the fact he leads the New York Rangers franchise in playoff goals above, Mark Messier with 29, above Rod Gilbert with 37.
Kreider has tallied 47 playoff goals during his tenure with the team and will not be stopping, as tonight they take on the Panthers in a match-up not seen since the 1997 NHL playoffs.
Hopefully, the Rangers and Kreider can continue the post-season dominance in the third round of the NHL playoffs tonight.
Puck drops at 7:30 PM, don't be late.
