The New York Rangers will play the Dallas Stars tonight at 8 PM at Madison Square Garden. The team is 15-15-1 and will have Matt Rempe in the lineup against the 19-12-0 Stars.

The New York Rangers face off against a legitimate contender in the NHL, the Dallas Stars. The team under Peter DeBoer has been a rocket, as they've found chemistry between their stars, which includes players like Logan Stankoven, Jason Robertson, Jake Oettinger, and Matt Duchene.

Tonight, the Rangers will take on Jake Oettinger, who is one of the best American-born goalies, who 16-8-0 record, with a .909 save percentage.

Igor Shesterkin will be in the net tonight against the Dallas Stars, and the Rangers will need to do their best to protect their goalie against the Stars, and their weapons.

Shesterkin has 10 wins this season, with a 3.04 GAA, and an .908 save percentage on a dismal Rangers squad.

Forwards:

Peter Laviolette has placed Will Borgen on the right-side pairing with Braden Schneider taking the left side. This will be Borgen's first game as a Ranger, and he will slot in on the 2nd pairing.

While, Urho Vaakainen and Chad Ruhwedel occupy the 3rd pairing, with the Finn on the left, and the veteran Ruhwedel on the right.

Zac Jones and Jimmy Vesey will be healthy scratches tonight, as Matt Rempe draws in. And the newer Rangers defenseman, Urho Vaakanainen, and Will Borgen get a look in the lineup tonight.
