Rangers captain issues an emotional statement following game 6 elimination
The New York Rangers have been eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs following a disappointing Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Florida Panthers.
The Rangers have had an outstanding season this year with finishing the regular season with 114 points, they have also had a very solid post-season run, going on a 7 game winning streak.
However, during game 6 on Saturday night the Rangers faced a disappointing 2-1 defeat to the Panthers and have officially been eliminated, with the Panthers winning the series 4-2.
Of course after the game emotions were running hight throughout everyone on the ice, especially with Rangers captain Jacob Trouba. After the game he shared how he felt with a emotional statement:
