Rangers star players face major demotion after the Stanley Cup playoffs
The New York Rangers are on the brink of elimination tonight when they face off against the Florida Panthers.
With the Rangers be down 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals, head coach Peter Laviolette must come prepared with the proper adjustments.
Recently fans have been upset with Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin as they both have gone ghost during the most crucial times of the Playoffs.
Fans are willing to forget that Panarin and Zibanejad are part of the Rangers if they don't produce tonight.
One suggests that the Rangers should remove them from leadership, strip them of the "A"'s, and give them over to Adam Fox, Igor Shesterkin, and Alexis Lafreniere.
Panarin has been outstanding throughout the regular season but just seems he can't handle the pressure of the post-season. In the last 5 games, he has only managed 3 points, with 12 shots on goal.
Zibanejad has really been struggle with producing momentum, like a true #1 center. Only having 2 points in the last 5 games, with 13 shots on goal.
Hopefully they can turn things around tonight!
