Rangers Overcome Injury With Big Win! Captain Being Evaluated
The Rangers are now 6-0-0 in «Revenge Games» this season with tonight's 5-1 win over the Washington Capitals!
The Rangers have yet to lose to the same team twice so far this season. They get one back against Washington after getting shutout earlier this month.
They played a complete game from top to bottom. Their offense was fluid and creative! K'Andre Miller was outstanding tonight! Scoring two goals and adding an assist. His second career game with multiple goals.
Unfortunately this win did not come with a cost. Jacob Trouba left early in the second period and did not return to the game. Head coach Peter Laviolette informed the media saying Trouba is currently being evaluated.
We will update as more information becomes available. Rangers improve to 24-8-1 for the season and will resume play Friday, December 29th, against the Florida Panthers, at Amerant Bank Arena, in Florida.
