The Rangers went 0 for 3 on the power play Friday, in the 4-3 overtime win over the Chicago Blackhawks, and are now 4 for their last 34 (11.8%) dating back to Jan. 13.

They haven't scored any power play goals in six straight games, going 0 for 14 in that span.

Mika Zibanejad who scored the game winner, speaks on the power play:

"It's a lot of overthinking. We're talking about playing fast, but I think it's just trying to find something, try to overdo it, try to overcompensate for what's going on right now. We talk about simplifying and that's what we have to keep harping on and keep getting better at. Obviously, we want the power play to get going again."

The Rangers still rank fifth in the league on the power play at 26.1 percent.

But the percentage is trending in the opposite direction they were hoping prior to the playoffs.

They still have 30 games left to correct.
