The Rangers have assigned back their recalled players back to the Hartford Wolf Pack this morning.

Defenseman, Connor Mackey, goaltender Dylan Garand, and the man of the hour, goaltender Louis Domingue, who was at net last night in the Rangers 4-1 win over the Minnesota Wild.

New York Rangers reporter, Vince Z. Mercogliano, believes they will be back.

The Rangers have done this repeatedly each day as a way to continually accuse cap space. It's been a paper transaction during their off days.

Plus why wouldn't they come back?

The Rangers have done well with the absence of center Filip Chytil, goaltender Igor Shesterkin, and now goaltender Jonathan Quick.

The Rangers have one last game Sunday, against the Columbus Blue Jackets, before they have a six day break while waiting for their battle against the New Jersey Devils, November18th.

Head coach Peter Laviolette, was asked the other day about holding out the injured players until after the long break:

"I do think that comes at a good spot... We can reassess & take a look at it at that point, but that doesn't necessarily mean that everybody's out through that."

Let's see what they decide to do later today.

Usually the announcement of the recalled players returning to the team happen the same day.
