Several Prospects Show Up In Win For Wolf Pack
The Rangers' may have lost yesterday, but another team managed to win last night.
The New York Rangers affiliate team, the Hartford Wolf Pack. Getting some good performances from several prospects.
Nothing stands out with
Brennan Othmann this game like that two goal burst from the first game of the season. Only managing an assist.
The real stand out is goaltender, Dylan Garland, who managed to swat 23 of 24 shots with a .958%. A very impressive showing for the 21-year-old.
Prior to the 2023-24 NHL season Vincent Z. Mercogliano rated Garand as the Rangers 6th best prospect.
Drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 NHL draft, he might have a future as a back-up goalie behind arguably the best in the league,
Igor Shesterkin.
It would be a great experience for him, even learn a few techniques from the former Vezina Trophy winner.
The Wolf Pack have a long stretch of rest, before they face off against the Scranton Penguins, Friday, October 20.
