Head Coach Peter Laviolette and the New York Rangers GM Chris Drury have submitted the finalized roster for the beginning of the season.

For 2024-2025 the New York Rangers will look like a new club, as they have added newcomers in the offseason namely Reilly Smith and Sam Carrick.
They have a full roster of 23 players for this season.
New York Rangers
Roster size: 23/23

Forwards (13): Anton Blidh, Jonny Brodzinski, Sam Carrick, Filip Chytil, Kaapo Kakko, Chris Kreider, Alexis Lafrenière, Jake Leschyshyn, Artemi Panarin, Reilly Smith, Adam Skora, Vincent Trocheck, Mika Zibanejad

IR: D Ryan Lindgren (upper body, day-to-day)

LTIR: F Jimmy Vesey (lower body, week-to-week)

The fact that Jimmy Vesey is out week-to-week, while defenseman Ryan Lindgren is out day-to-day, with an upper-body injury means the team temporarily has had to dip into the AHL to find replacements.
However, as expected some last minute changes were made as the New York Rangers have recalled Will Cuylle, Adam Edstrom, Matt Rempe and Victor Mancini to the National Hockey League for the Rangers opening night this Wednesday.
While they sent Anton Blidh, Jake Leschyshyn, Adam Sykora, Ben Harpur and Matthew Robertson to the AHL.
As expected, the #NYR have finalized their roster by recalling Will Cuylle, Adam Edstrom, Matt Rempe and Victor Mancini to the NHL while sending Anton Blidh, Jake Leschyshyn, Adam Sykora, Ben Harpur and Matthew Robertson to the AHL.
The team has got the injury bug early, which is troubling news for the team That won a President's Trophy in 2023-2024.
Can Peter Laviolette successfully run it back to the Eastern Conference Finals with a busted-up lineup this early in the season?
It will be impressive if he and the Rangers can rebound from this start.
