The NHL disrespects Igor Shesterkin following their most recent announcement
New Yorks Rangers starting goaltender Igor Shesterkin, gets disrespected by the NHL's latest announcement.
Despite the unfortunate end to the Rangers season, Igor Shesterkin was arguably the best player of the New York Rangers this season.
Igor Shesterkin surpassed many expectations this year, with managing a pretty impressive record of 36 wins, in 55 games played for a 2.58 GAA, and a .913 save percentage.
However, The NHL announced the winner of the 2023-24 Vezina Trophy, and Igor Shesterkin was heavily disrespected.
Winnipeg Jets goalie, Connor Hellebuyck was named the winner by a long shot as he had 31 first-place votes and one second-place tally from the 32 NHL general managers for a total of 158 points.
While Igor Shesterkin fell in four place with 0 first-place votes, 1 second-place talley, and 4 third-place tally's for a total of 7 points.
