The Rangers Match Up Well With Their Upcoming Opponent
The Rangers' will soon begin their second game of the season against the Columbus Blue Jackets, aiming to start the season 2-0.
They will do so, riding a nice point stretch against their opponent, in 10 of their last 14 games.
That's encouraging to see. What's even more encouraging, is two of the Rangers' top goal scorers, Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad, have matched up well against their upcoming foe.
The table is set for the Rangers to deliver another knockout blow, and two games into the season show, they are one of the legitimate contenders for the cup.
There might also be a line change with today's practice updates and a confirmation on goalie for tonight, per Vince Z. Mercogliano on X:
No injury reports for any player, so a fully healthy squad is hitting the ice tonight.
