The Rangers' Odds To Win It All
NHL.com have posted their updated odds of teams winning it all this year, and the Rangers' odds look as good as any team.
NHL currently has them placed at seventh.
Sandwiched between last year's champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, and the Dallas Stars.
What is more interesting, is the Rangers' have two divisional rivals that round out two of the top three best odds to win the cup, the teams in question being the Carolina Hurricanes who have the best odds, and longtime rivals, the New Jersey Devils, who beat the Rangers' last year in the first round, coming back from a 2-0 deficit, to win in seven.
The Metropolitan division is arguably the best and most difficult group of teams out of the four divisions in the NHL, with three of the top seven odds coming from that one division alone. Even fringe contenders like the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders always give the Rangers' headaches and are not to be overlooked.
The Rangers have the talent, leadership, and coaching to clinch their first title in 30 years, it's all a matter of execution.
