The New York Rangers have a great prospect pool and will once again be one of the top teams in the NHL. There may not be many who make their NHL debut, but there are some who could see NHL ice this season.

Othmann showed a lot of promise during the first AHL season, earning him a look in the NHL. He would score 49 points( 21 G, 28 A) in 67 games with the Hartford Wolfpack. If he could find a way to duplicate that production again he should find himself on NHL ice, for longer than three games in 2024.
Berard is a fifth-round pick, who by all means has exceeded expectations in the AHL. He posted 48 points( 25 G, 23 A) in 71 games. He showed himself to be a hard worker and while NHL games didn't come in 2023-2024, he should find himself skating on NHL ice this year. He could be a bottom-six option for the Rangers as someone who can score and plays well around the net. If there's an injury in the future he could be a future call-up.
Garand should be next in line for the net for the Rangers but hasn't put up the greatest numbers. He's played two seasons in the AHL posting a .894 Save percentage, and a .898 save percentage.
He was called up last season but didn't get any ice time. But if the Rangers have Jonathan Quick or Igor Shesterkin miss any significant time, it could be Garand they call up to stabilize the net.
It's a possibility his numbers could prove to be better with a legitimate NHL squad in front of him.
The Rangers need to find out what Garand can do at the NHL level, so they can plan the next steps for the goalie.
