Trocheck Continues To Impress! Leads The League In This Stat!
His numbers have spoken for themselves since he joined the second line. He has four goals and eight assists in 10 games.
What has become remarkable is Trocheck on the faceoff.
He has the best faceoff win percentage this season, among players with a minimum of 300 faceoffs, at 63.4 percent, which is ridiculous.
The Rangers as a team, is the best faceoff team in the league at 55.7 percent, mostly thanks to Trocheck.
In the 5-1 loss to the Buffalo Sabres Monday night, Trocheck went 16-for-17 in the faceoff dot, good for 94 percent.
The highest by a Rangers skater with 17 or more faceoffs since the NHL started tracking in 1997-98.
He has been elite when it comes to draws this year, and it's a big reason the Rangers sit at first place in the league!
