Were The Rangers Playing In New York, Or New Jersey? Couldn't Tell
The Rangers have taken their Hudson rivals down a notch in the standings.
While at the same time, the Rangers continue to maintain their supremacy in the Metropolitan Division.
What was interesting about last night however, it was suppose to be a road game for the Rangers. We played at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, didn't we?
It looks to me, with all the blue shirts in the crowd, we were playing at Madison Square Garden. Take a listen to the crowd roar after the Jimmy Vesey game-winning goal:
The crowd erupted much louder at that one goal than any Devils goal last night.
The only thing missing was the sound of the horn blaring after we score a goal.
It helps that the Rangers play just across the Hudson River from the Devils arena.
The travel is minimal, and as you saw last night, Rangers fans are more than willing to make the short trip across the river to watch their favorite team crush a hated rival.
Unfortunately the Devils fans themselves aren't dedicated enough to go support their favorite team in the same state.
