Mika Zibanejad starts on time with this incredible stat
Mika Zibanejad has shown time and time again that he belongs with the New York Rangers.
Over the course of his seven seasons with the team he has been a consistent point getter and given the team a chance to win on most nights.
He also holds a unique stat that he had built on when he scored less than 30 seconds into the second period against New York Islanders.
This appears to be a trend as he has done these six other times.
The only player standing in his way would be Chris Kreider who is tied with seven goals as well.
Over the course of Zibanejad's season, he has played 67 games, has scored 22 goals of 36 assists for 58 points at his a + 15 with 30 penalty minutes.
It will be vital that he continues to trend upward down the stretch as the Rangers prepare for the first round of the playoffs and will need him along with the rest of the team to be ready.
The Rangers next game will be at home against the Winnipeg Jets which will be held on Tuesday March 19th.
Game time will be 7:00 PM eastern.
