The New York Rangers have made a surprising announcement today involving two of their star players.

Today the New York Rangers made an announcement celebrating veteran goaltender Jonathan Quick and K'Andre Miller as it's their birthday today.

The two players share a birthday. However, Jonathan Quick turned 39-years old today and K'Andre Miller turned 25-years old, and the New York Rangers made a social media post celebrating both of their birthdays as they were born on January 21st.

Here's the post that was made by the New York Rangers:

Happy Birthday Quickie and Key!

Veteran goaltender Johnathan Quick has been on fire for the New York Rangers this season as he post a 3.11 GAA along with a .897 save percentage in just 13 starts this season, and is desperately trying to get his 400th career win this season.

As for defenseman K'Andre Miller he is on a bit of a slump this season as he has only managed to tally 2 goals and 6 assists for a total of 8 points throughout 40 games played and has a plus/minus rating of -5.

Hopefully the Rangers can continue their point streak tonight as they face off against the Ottawa Senators at 7:00PM at Madison Square Garden.
