The Pittsburgh Penguins go crazy after veteran forward Evgeni Malkin nets his 500th career goal against the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night.

Evgeni Malkin has just became the 48th player ever in NHL history to hit this milestone, of 500 career goals, leaving the Penguins ecstatic as they clear the bench to celebrate this milestone.

500 GENOS! 🚨

Evgeni Malkin becomes the 48th player in NHL history to score 500 career goals - and just the 20th to do so with a single team.

This awesome goal came Wednesday night against the Buffalo Sabres, at the just the right moment as the two teams were tired with three goals a piece during the third period.

Evgeni Malkin never quit on the play and managed to get the best of Ukka-Pelle Luukkonen with his rebound while falling on the ice, making this moment just that much more impressive.

However, it wouldn't be a milestone if Penguins captain Sidney Crosby wasn't involved in some way, as Crosby plays a big part on Malkin's 500th career goal. Just like Evgeni Malkin factored in on Sidney Crosby's 500th career goal.

Along with that, it was also a milestone night for Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby as he managed to get his 1600th career point, earlier in the game off an assist.

Truly a spectacular night for the two veterans!
