Unfortunate news for the Maple Leafs organization exposed at Charity event

During a charity event for 'Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk', Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi made an appearance.

While Max Domi was at the charity event, he spoke with uncertainty about his future with the Maple Leafs organization as he was approached by the Toronto media and faced with questions about his new head coach, Craig Berube, and his contract status with the team.

Here's what Domi had to say:

"All the guys in the locker room, the staff, they're going to benefit from having him around every single day. There's a presence around him, he means business. Whether I'm here or not, he's exactly what this team needs to take the next step. I know my agent has been talking to Treliving, though I have to keep that discussion in-house," Domi said. "Whatever happens will happen, but I've still enjoyed every second as a Leaf. I'd love to come back, it's a special organization, a special group of guys."

If you didn't think Toronto Media couldn't get any worse, it just did. This is a very inappropriate time to be asking these types of questions at a charity event.
