Fans are left furious after a cryptocurrency scam stole their money, but even more upset that it came from Washington Capitals forward TJ Oshie's personal X account.

TJ Oshie is well respected player on and off the ice and as history of working with charities, he even participated in the Alzner Foundation charity softball game just two weeks ago.
A recent post came from his personal X account, formerly known as Twitter, sharing a like announcing a new cryptocurrency. It was quickly debunked that Ohsie was hacked, as he released the news earlier today.
«Sorry hackers got my account

So stupid»

However, this was unfortunately not enough, as this fan seems furious about losing money to the people who hacked Oshie's account.
[TJ Oshie] SCAMMED ME I LOST MONEY WITH OTHER PEOPLE HE LAUNCHED SOME CRYPTO THEN SOLD EVERYTHING AND DELETED THEE POST 🚨 REFUND US OR GO TO JAIL!!!!!!

HE BLOCKED ME TO AVOID THESE FACTS!!!!!!

Obviously we can speculate about whether or not this was a real hacking incident or perhaps it was a scam by TJ Oshie but without further information nothing can be provide at the moment.
So with that being said, this a great time to remember to be cautious online and don't put money into something that you don't know is 100% true.
Hopefully for those who lost their money can quickly get it back.
