Vancouver Canucks forward Dakota Joshua reveals devastating cancer diagnosis
Some devastating news emerges as Vancouver Canucks forward Dakota Joshua revealed he has been diagnosed with cancer.
Truly some unfortunate news, as Joshua discovered a lump in his groin area and was told by the doctors that he had testicular cancer.
However, there is some good news as he successfully had surgery to remove the tumor and it was caught in time before it got worse.
Just a few moments ago, Dakota Joshua released a heartfelt statement:
Dakota Joshua was originally a 5th-round pick by the Toronto Maple Leafs back in 2014. He has now played in 184 NHL games, scoring 33 goals and 31 assists, for 64 points.
Dakota Joshua will unfortunately miss the start of the season as he recovers from his surgery.
