The New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils game gets heated as the second period comes to an end, with the Devils leading.

The New York Rangers are currently facing off against the New Jersey Devils for their fourth preseason game tonight.
It seems that last season's rivalry is continuing into this year as tonight's game has been filled with a few rough moments between the two teams.
However, as the second period comes to an end Rangers forward Adam Erne and Devils forward Brian Halonen go toe-to-toe in a heated tilt.
Such a wild night already, but most likely we will continue to see tension between the two teams tonight, as we enter the third period.
Adam Eren is trying to make a name for himself as the New York Rangers have signed 29-year old to a Professional Tryout (PTO). Erne spent last season with the Edmonton Oilers and only managed to tally one goal in 24 games, 68 hits, and an even plus/minus rating. Hopefully by signing Erne to a PTO, the Rangers will now have another option to consider for their bottom six.
However it doesn't look to good for the New York Rangers as they can't seem to find the back of the net, against Devils goaltender Jeremy Brodeur, the son of New Jersey Devils legend Martin Brodeur.
