Maple Leafs Receives Horrific News On Joseph Woll Ahead Of Game 7
Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll is out tonight for Game 7 against the Boston Bruins due to an injury sustained in Game 6.
Woll suffered the injury while trying to stop Morgan Geekie's last-second shot on Wednesday night.
Ilya Samsonov will get the start tonight. Auston Matthews is also out there and expected to return to the Toronto lineup. Woll has been instrumental in the Maple Leafs comeback this series, allowing one goal in each of the last two games. This is a huge blow to the team who is looking to complete the 3-1 comeback tonight.
