Colby Armstrong has made it clear he is rooting for the Edmonton Oilers as their matchup against the Vancouver Canucks gets closer. Armstrong thinks the Oilers will "steamroll" the Canucks during round two.
Armstrong goes onto say that the Vancouver Canucks better have some «tricks up their sleeve» because he really thinks the Edmonton Oilers will "walk all over the Vancouver Canucks".
Fans seem to think Armstrong is incorrect saying that the Vancouver Canucks will be the ones steamrolling the Edmonton Oilers on the day of the game by taking the win. One fan, pointed out that, no one thought the Vancouver Canucks would come as far as they have this 23-24 season and they still beat the odds. Another fan stated that the doubting will continue outside of Vancouver until Vancouver actually win the Stanley Cup. Another one chimes in and they stated that it should not taking them winning the Stanley Cup for other people to notice the progress the team has made and that if they can not or will not see it then that is there loss.
I think I agree with fans on this one, both teams are strong competitors and while the Edmonton Oilers outsmarted the Los Angles Kings, it comes as no surprise that the Los Angeles Kings have been on a power play losing streak for a while. The same cannot be said about the Vancouver Canucks so that alone will prove to be a bigger challenge for the Edmonton Oilers. There is no doubt both teams will bring their A game and it isn't a game you want to miss if you're a hockey fan. May the Hockey Gods be with the Vancouver Canucks so they can advance in the battle towards the Stanley Cup.
