Former New York Rangers becomes captain of Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL
Former New York Rangers forward Vitali Kravtsov's last season in the NHL was in 2022-2023.
He'd play 16 games with the Vancouver Canucks, and score 2 points. He would return home to Russia and play for the team he played to prior to his arrival in the NHL.
Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL, you know the team with the hip-hop goal-song(albeit a bit goofy) and the bear crest on the front.
He'd play 55 games in the KHL with Traktor in 2023-2024 scoring 34 points( 18 G, 16 A) with 33 PIMs.
As of 2024-2025, Kravtsov has been named Captain of the club, which is fitting, as he has spent nearly 4 years in total with the club.
He signed a two-year deal with Traktor in 2023-2024 and looks to have found his final home in professional hockey.
Kravtsov has played 64 total NHL games, scoring 12 points( 6 G, 6 A), and never amounted to much with the New York Rangers, unfortunately.
