Jeff Marek hints at a possible return with cryptic social media post after departure from Sportsnet

Jeff Marek worked with Sportsnet for numerous years and was considered a legend in the hockey community, and along with Elliotte Friedman he co-hosted the popular �32 Thoughts Podcast'. However that all came to an end this summer after Marek announced he would be parting ways with Sportsnet after the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

Marek never mentioned any particular time for the plans he had for his future at this time. But in the moment of this announcement, the hockey community showed him love and excitement. As Jeff Marek's return has been anticipated by fans for a little bit now and after a recent post made by Marek this afternoon on X, it seems like a return will soon become a reality.

Jeff Marek has officially made a comeback to social media platforms since his departure from Sportsnet back in late July. In this post Marek shared a GIF of the well known WWE wrestler, The Undertaker «rising from the dead» on the very first day of the NHL regular season, for what seems to be completely out of the blue.

Unfortunately at the moment the details of Marek's comeback to the hockey scene are still unknown, but with this type of social media post it definitely suggests that he is planning to make a comeback to the sports media scene as the 2024-25 season will begin shortly.
