Retired Ref Says A Perfectly Called NHL Game Would Be Boring
Jonny Lazarus has a genuine conversation with Tim Peel on his podcast about what pisses fans off in regard to NHL officiating, and says that perfectly called NHL games would be boring, that mistakes are needed!
Watch a clip here:
I don't think anyone would want games decided by the refs, in any sport.
A user comments an extreme scenario that would garner so much controversy, and Lazarus himself offers a similar scenario.
"Sorry, but this is moronic. Do you want game 7 of the SC Final decided by a ref's mistake ??? No!
Case closed. Eye in the Sky already, we have the freaking technology."
As a Rangers fan, I would absolutely hate this if this happened to my team.
