During last night's game against the Rangers, Penguins captain and superstar Sidney Crosby tied Wayne Gretzky's record for most points per game seasons which stands at 19.

After the game, he spoke to the media on what it felt to be standing beside The Great One.

Rangers reporter Johnny Lazarus gave Crosby a great question on who he would respond first after tying the record which led to Crosby laughing and stating that he wasn't sure how he'd go about it.

It's been a tough season for Crosby as his Penguins remain out of a playoff spot being 5 points behind the Washington Capitals even though his season has been incredible in terms of statistics.

The 36-year-old centre just continues to churn out great seasons of play as he has played 74 games, scored 37 goals with 45 assists for 82 points and is a + 8.

It became interesting as the trade deadline approached when several rumors began to surface across the web about a possibility of Crosby waiving his no trade clause to be move to in contender including two Canadian teams. Such an idea seemed impossible but with the desire to continue to win cups and being the competitor he is, it didn't seem so far fetched.

But the deadline passed, and nothing occurred which means Crosby will remain with the Penguins till the end of the season and can sign what would be his final contract with the Penguins to finish out his career.
