The Coyotes Are Officially Out Of Arizona And Heading To Utah
The�Arizona Coyotes�are officially headed to Salt Lake City starting next season, sources tell The Athletic.
On Thursday, the NHL Board of Governors unanimously voted in favor of the sale and relocation of the team's hockey assets.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and soon to be former owner, Alex Meruelo, will hold a press conference tomorrow in Phoenix at 11:30am local time.
Utah has collected over 6,000 season-ticket deposits in the first two hours of sales.
The Coyotes have been in Arizona since 1996.
