The Minnesota Wild have had one of the most inconsistent seasons in their history.
Deemed a playoff contender and potential Stanley Cup contender early in the year, the team has shown but they are far from that and there's plenty of work to be done for general manager Bill Guerin.
The team gave a nod to their namesake as the wild scored six unanswered goals against the Vancouver Canucks yesterday during a 5 min stretch which sent the Canucks back on their heels and completely shell shocked.

This goal series by the Wild was part of a 17-goal game between the two squads as the Wild won 10-7.
This has not been seen very often in the NHL over the past several years as the league has been promoting more goals and more offence.
With the fans demanding it, it appeared today that the team gave the fans what they wanted.
As for the Canucks, over the past couple of weeks the team has been seesawing with blown leads and big losses as they continue to hold their grip as the leading team in the league.
This kind of loss will send head coach Rick Tochett into a frenzy, and it will be interesting what he will do with his squad tomorrow.
