Panthers take final cheap shot at the Bruins after game 6 elimination
The Boston Bruins 2023-2024 season has came to an end as they have just been eliminated from the playoffs in round two against the Florida Panthers in game six.
After an intense matchup, the Panthers ended up coming out with a 2-1 victory, despite having Brad Marchand back in the lineup after missing four and five with an upper body injury.
Boston Bruins, captain Brad Marchand is known around the league as a rat' due to his style of play and how easily he can get under the skin of his opponents.
After the game, the Panthers, social media team decides to take one final shot at the Bruins, right after elimination on home ice. They posted their victory announcement on X (twitter) saying «Our rats are better.»
This refers to Panthers fans throwing plastic rats after a win in Florida, but the call was definitely directed to Brad Marchand, as their season and playoff hopes are over.
The Florida Panthers will meet the New York Rangers for the start of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 22nd.
