The trade deadline season is always fun to watch and listen in the NHL as the fan base discuss who will be on the move and which teams will be the most active at the deadline.

Some of the most outrageous trade rumors come from this season which gives entertainment for many and gives others a chance to shake their head.
One rumour that appears to be gaining strength was revealed by The Athletic hockey insider Pierre LeBrun That former Rangers star winger Vladimir Tarasenko maybe on the move from the Ottawa Senators.
According to LeBrun, Tarasenko has changed his agent again the second one in seven months and is now represented by Newport Sports.
It's clear that he is not happy with his situation as the senators were expected to be a playoff team this year and after a terrible start and constant issues with their goaltending and defence the team seems to be going nowhere fast, Tarasenko has signaled that he may want out.
Tarasenko, signed with the Senators during the 2023 offseason by former general manager Pierre Dorion, to a one-year deal worth $5 million. He holds a $5,000,000 cap hit.
If he decides to waive his no trade clause there will be a line up of general managers willing to take a chance on Tarasenko as he would give them a boost in offence and their power play.
It remains to be seen on how many players would be willing to move their no trade clauses or no movement as the playoff picture continues to clear up and the teams are locked in place.
