Traded: Former first-round pick traded in a unexpected deal
Former first round-round pick traded in an unexpected deal.
NHL insider, Elliotte Friedman reported that the Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins have completed a trade for 25-year old forward Cody Glass.
It was later revealed that the Predators received Jordan Fresca. This type of trade seems to be more of a salary dump situation for the Nashville Predators as he carries a $2.5 million cap hit, and will become a restricted free agent after this season.
Cody Glass was the 6th overall pick when he was drafted by the Vegas Golden Knights back in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
This past season Glass appeared in 41 games for the Nashville Predators and managed totally 13 points (6 Goals, 7 Assists).
