Two New Players Assigned To Long Term Injured Reserve
The Rangers have announced they will be assigning Kaapo Kakko and Filip Chytil to long term injured reserved.
Kaapo Kakko's lower-body injury is serious, not believed to be season ending, which is good news. He'll miss a lot of time.
Filip Chytil's LTIR stint is retroactive to Nov. 3, purely for salary cap purposes.
He's been skating. He has not attended this afternoons practice.
We will update as more information becomes available.
