Chris Kreider faces punishment for tossing Tkachuk's equipment into the stands
The New York Rangers and Florida Panthers game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals has been nothing but chippy.
In the opening minute of the third period Rangers forward Chris Kreider and Panthers Matthew Tkachuk got into it a heated exchange. During the heated exchange Kreider has done something not many have seen.
Chris Kreider's recent actions could lead him to be facing a potential suspension or fine from the NHL Department of Player Safety, during the scrum Kreider tossed a piece of Tkachuk's into the stands.
Kreider threw Tkachuk's mouthguard into the crowd after a scrum 😳😅
The Department of Player Safety will definitely be taking a look at this incident, we will keep you posted once more emerges on Kreider's punishment.
The New York Rangers ended up falling short during game 4 as Sam Reinhart scores an early overtime game, tying the series at 2-2.
