Complete list of Rangers stars who will represent their Nations in the upcoming Four-Nations Tournament
The Four Nations Face-off is unique since a limited number of roster spots will be available for this significant competition. Roster spots are highly coveted.
The tournament will be a star-studded event and will feature five Rangers stars on their respective rosters.
Kaapo Kakko is one Rangers who will be rostered on Team Finland in the tournament, while
Mika Zibanejad will represent Team Sweden.
«You always want to play for your country,» Kakko said.
Kakko has turned his play around this season, scoring 13 points( 3 G, 10 A) in 24 games this season with the Rangers. Good enough to earn a spot for the Finnish squad.
While Zibanejad will undoubtedly collide with Kakko on the ice, scoring 18 points( 5 G, 13 A) this season will be featured along with a Swedish roster full of stars. Including players like Gus Nyquist, Joe Erikkson-Ek, and
Victor Hedman.
The Four Nations Face-Off will have a strictly original-six setting, as the tournament will take place at TD Garden in Boston, and the Bell Centre in Montreal.
The 4 Nations Face-Off will take place from Feb. 12 to Feb. 20 at the Bell Centre in Montreal and at TD Garden in Boston.
Along with the Team USA and Team Canada rosters have been officially confirmed, as three New York Rangers star will represent Team USA.
Absent from the Team Canada roster will shockingly be Rangers forward Alexis Lafreniere who has been off to a great start for the Rangers as he has managed to tally 17 points (8 goals, 9 assists) in 24 games.
Definitely a great opportunity for the five Rangers who will represent their Nations in this much anticipated tournament.
